Washington, D.C.: “The Supreme Court has agreed to review a Mississippi appeal in defense of their law protecting the right to life,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “This review is the first major case the Supreme Court will hear on abortion laws in some time. It will certainly have long-ranging impact on the fight to protect unborn Americans for generations.
“This is a huge responsibility that shifts to our nine justices, and a great time for our newest associate justices to affirm their support of our Constitution and founding documents. From the very beginning, the right to live has been recognized as our primary natural right from our Creator! Our nation and our very way of life are built upon that morality. We pray for and look forward to a good, just, and constitutional result from our nation’s highest court.”
