Washington, D.C.: “The Supreme Court has wisely blocked the Biden Administration’s vaccine mandate on private businesses of 100 employees or more,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “This is a great rebuke of the White House and their efforts to bypass Congress and the States, by unconstitutionally imposing on the private health decisions of two-thirds of the American work force.
“The Biden Administration and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration were far outside the scope of power on this matter and they have been soundly checked. The American economy and so many businesses are grateful for this reprieve from administrative dictatorship. We are now expectant that the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals will consider the High Court’s leanings and proceed accordingly.”
“The scope of federal power and our system of checks and balances were honored today,” Martin concluded. “We pray the same care is given in upcoming opinions of great importance!”
