Washington, D.C.: “For two nights now, Tucker Carlson and his team have showcased sections of the January 6 footage that have never been seen by the public before,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Tucker’s team has used their access to all 44,000 hours of footage to quickly unwind several key narratives spun by the so-called Select Committee on January 6. It didn’t take long to confirm that the Democrats and two RINOs on the committee were lying about a great many things.”
“Even so,” Martin continued, “the left is now screeching that Tucker is ‘selectively’ releasing footage to spin his own story. Just as Nancy’s minions did, the Fake News also wants us to believe Tucker is doing. There’s one simple way to bring this unproductive back-and-forth to a stop: release all of the tapes! Put every bit of the forty plus thousand hours out there for the public to view.
“Obviously we need experienced media teams like Tucker’s to be able to sift through and find pertinent information, but with every bit available to check, it means no more just having to believe someone else who has seen it. Every claim, every story, every selection, can be checked!”
Martin concluded, “I applaud Speaker McCarthy for giving Tucker access to these tapes. I applaud Tucker’s crew for so diligently working to show the reality of January 6 and the political lies that have put innocent Americans in jail. And now we need the next and ultimate step in transparency, the complete release of all of the footage to the public.”
