Iowa, California, Nevada, Montana, Florida will host inaugural centers to rekindle education on our country’s founding.
St. Louis, MO: Phyllis Schlafly Eagles announced the formation today of new Phyllis Schlafly Constitution Centers that will serve to educate the American people. Americans know something is amiss. We are witnessing attacks on the middle class, the rise of the Administrative State, and politicians dismissive of legitimate concerns about their power. Phyllis Schlafly knew that educating the public in sound civics was the answer for our Country’s woes. Phyllis Schlafly Constitution Centers are meant to reawaken knowledge of our great heritage that is contained in our Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Once educated, the American people can defend our liberties and enforce the principles of our Constitution.
Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles, remarked "Phyllis Schlafly knew that devotion to the original intent of our Constitution and other founding documents was essential to maintain our liberty."
"President Trump has sparked a fire in America unlike any other leader in decades," said Tammy Kobza, National Leadership Coordinator for Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. "These Centers support his leadership and Phyllis Schlafly’s legacy. The state leaders heading our Phyllis Schlafly Constitution Centers have been in the civic arena for decades. They know the issues, they know the Constitution, and they have the energy and passion to share these great resources with their fellow citizens."
“It is amazing how our Founding Fathers understood the dangers ahead if we the people would be led astray from the original Constitution and Declaration of Independence," said Nevada leader Vicki Dooling. "Phyllis Schlafly was ahead of her time in realizing the path of freedom must remain as originally intended in order for our liberties to be preserved!"
Florida Phyllis Schlafly Constitution Center head Priscilla Gray said "Phyllis awoke in me what it means to be a militant faithful with a desire to uphold our Constitution. Phyllis Schlafly’s work was joyful and formed by love of God and of our miraculous Republic."
Montana head Eric Olsen added "Our Founders researched thousands of years of civilizations before writing the greatest document allowing man to govern himself under law. It is imperative to get back to strict adherence to the Constitution."
Tamara Scott of the Iowa Center said "Phyllis Schlafly has been defending the Constitution and our Republic for decades. It’s an honor to be able to carry on her vision in Iowa."
