For Immediate Release: December 6, 2018
Washington, D.C.: This evening, Phyllis Schlafly Eagles will host a “Christmas Open House” from 5-7 p.m at the Phyllis Schlafly Center in Washington, D.C. This event is open to Hill staffers, leaders, and activists. Members of Congress will also be present.
“We are excited to host this event today and to remember together the birth of Christ more than 2,000 years ago as well as the legacy of Phyllis Schlafly,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Phyllis liked to pause during the Christmas season to remember that amid all the problems in the world, those problems are only temporary because God sent his Son to the earth, a Savior who is Christ Jesus the Lord. We will also pause this year to remember all of God’s blessings.”
Each guest in attendance at the open house will receive a free gift from under the Christmas tree. For more information about this event, contact Joanna Spilger at Joanna@phyllisschlafly.com.
