Washington, D.C.: Phyllis Schlafly Eagles has issued a statement of endorsement for Representative Pete Sessions in his race for Texas’s Congressional District 17:
“Pete Sessions has proven that he’s willing to take on the tough issues and buck the system,” said Ed Martin. “On election security issues, in particular, he has taken a strong stand these last years when many others wouldn’t touch it. He brings not only a strong sense of policy and the values America needs to lead, but he is a seasoned veteran of the politics of the hill. This rather rare combination will be an asset for his constituents and others around the nation.”
John Schlafly added: “We must have Members of Congress who will put our American values and the will of the people before any marching orders from party leaders. Pete Sessions fits the bill. He has been a fantastic presence in Congress and we need him again in the new House to help steer the majority right! He has my complete endorsement.”
“It’s not good enough for our new majority in Congress to be Republican,” Martin concluded. “It must stick to pro-America, pro-liberty values.
