The Power of Grassroots Is Surging and Winning All Across the Country
Washington, D.C.: “Last month, our fantastic Pennsylvania Phyllis Schlafly Eagles hosted their 2022 Awards Banquet, and I was struck with just how strong the grassroots really is in Pennsylvania!” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “In fact, two of the voices that stood out to me were Sen. Doug Mastriano, who’s running for Governor, and Kathy Barnette, who’s embroiled in the close Senate primary. They are both on Pennsylvania’s primary ballot tomorrow, May 17.
“Both Barnette and Mastriano have surged in their races and may just topple some establishment candidates tomorrow. It’s no wonder! Kathy Barnette is unapologetically pro-life, without exception. She has an incredible story to share and she shared it boldly on the national debate stage just a few days ago. Likewise, Senator Mastriano not only served our nation in uniform but now serves Pennsylvania’s legislature no matter what the cost for speaking truth. He has often been a lone voice demanding election reforms that will restore voter confidence in PA. Both of these candidates have put truth front and center, and the grassroots has rallied to them.
