On August 31 and September 1, Phyllis Schlafly's Pennsylvania Eagles will host their annual dinners to benefit the conservative cause across the Commonwealth. These events will be held on consecutive evenings in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
This year, the hosts are thrilled to welcome College Football Hall of Fame Coach Lou Holtz as a special guest and and Senator Scott Wagner (R-PA28), candidate for Pennsylvania Governor, as their featured speaker. These two featured guests will also receive prestigious Phyllis Schlafly Eagle Awards! This will be the 8th annual event supporting conservative causes in Pennsylvania.
"We are anticipating large, excited crowds at both of our events," said Ned Pfeifer, president of Pennsylvania Eagle Forum. "We are also grateful to host two very special guests this year. Coach Lou Holtz is well known for his hard work in promoting traditional, American values. He received the Defender of Life Award from Phyllis Schlafly last year at the Republican Convention.
Senator Wagner has also been a conservative voice on issues in our legislature and in his campaign for Governor. We are grateful for the service of these two men and we look forward to hosting them this week."
