Washington, D.C.: “There is no natural immunity to COVID hypocrisy,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. This comes after a whistleblower in law enforcement reported that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has released 16,000 COVID-positive illegal immigrants into American communities.
“The Left’s double-standard on COVID-19 couldn’t be more infuriating. Lives have been put on hold and countless small businesses have closed due to strict mandates allegedly put in place to slow the spread of COVID. Yet, the Biden administration’s attitude toward thousands of illegals carrying COVID over our southern border could be described as lackadaisical at best.”
Martin concluded: “If President Biden truly wants to protect American citizens from COVID-19, the first thing he should do is resume construction of President Trump’s border wall. In the meantime, any and all illegal immigrants who test positive for COVID-19 should be required to return to their country of origin. That’s a COVID mandate we should all be able to get behind.”
