FBI Raids on Veritas Are the Latest in DOJ Political Aggression
Washington, D.C.: “The Department of Justice is fully embracing their role as the political persecution arm of the Narrative Machine,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “The full-on assault against the journalists of Project Veritas is just the latest in the ‘lawfare’ of the left. After raiding several offices and home related to Project Veritas, including the homes of James O’Keefe himself, the DOJ confiscated hard drives and proceeded to extract data.
“Thankfully, Project Veritas is ready to do battle not only in the realm of journalism but the legal arena as well! Harmeet Dhillon, the civil rights attorney representing Veritas, announced that a federal judge has blocked the DOJ from extracting further data from Veritas smart phones and demanded confirmation of compliance with the order.”
Martin concluded, “The Department of Justice, run by Lisa Monaco and her Puppet General Merrick Garland, is operating in the fashion of Soviet bureaucracy — attacking and intimidating free press, labeling vocal citizens as domestic terrorists, even attempting to squash our checks and balances by keeping state governments in line. We must stop this reign of DOJ terror. The left’s lawfare must be put down before it destroys our republic. This is a good step in the fight and our prayers are with Project Veritas as they fight this battle! All of America needs to stand with them.”
