Dems Halt Schumer’s Nuclear Dreams, Independents Halt Biden’s Hopes for Approval
Washington, D.C.: “We may find ourselves in a new year, but the Democrats definitely haven’t found the ‘new you’ that gym commercials promised them,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “In fact, the leftwing policy makers and pollsters can’t shake the same old headache. I imagine in this first week of election year, they are begging the Biden administration for mercy.”
Martin continued, “Chuck Schumer quickly made it clear in 2022 that he would federalize U.S. elections even if it meant ending the filibuster. Just as quickly, two members of his own caucus went public and curbed his nuclear aspirations.
“On the heels of Democrats’ Senate spectacle, Joe Biden chimed in with his own shocking news: a record net disapproval among independents. The Economist found only 27% of independents approve of Biden’s job to the 64% who disapprove — a record (ever) -37 net swing. Even in Democrat-leaning polling groups they were unable to find a majority approval for this flailing president.
“Not to be left out, the left’s mouthpiece is also feeling the burn. CNN’s fourth quarter report in 2021 found they lost 73% of primetime viewers in just one year. That’s not a typo: 73% of CNN’s primetime viewers turned them off.
“This all leads to one very exciting conclusion,” Martin said. “The American public is turning off the propaganda spigot on TV and witnessing the total failure of the Biden administration. The leftist agenda is crushing our economy and our culture as fast as possible. The American people can see it, and now they must act!”
