Narrative Machine is Mishandling Facts, Manufacturing Guilt, and Fomenting Racism
Washington, D.C.: Closing arguments and jury deliberations begin today in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
“Kyle Rittenhouse should be quickly acquitted,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “From the outset of this case he has been maliciously pursued and vilified by the power of Big Government and the megaphone of Big Media.”
Bungling prosecutors spent days ignoring their way through evidence and testimony that present a clear case of Kyle’s actions being in self-defense.
“The Narrative Machine of Big Media, Big Tech, and Big Government has been laser focused not on facts and the law but on vilifying Kyle Rittenhouse and fomenting racism,” Martin continued. “The media particularly has gone hog wild lying about this case — some even insisting that the victims weren’t white (they are). While a young man’s life hangs in the balance, Big Government is bent on prosecuting anyone other than the BLM rioters and arsonists.
“This blatant, political lawfare against a teenager acting in self defense must be stopped. I hope and pray that the jury arrives at the only conclusion the evidence has shown at this point — self-defense. Acquit Kyle Rittenhouse!”
