In this great country, I hope there’s a lot happening in your neck of the woods in your life and everything that’s going well. It’s not some of it’s not going well in the country, but it’ll turn out OK. I think. I think it’ll turn out OK. I’m optimistic today. I’m. I’m. I’m sunny today. I’m sunny. Big Storm blew through last night. Our, our, our neighborhood, our town and the kids enjoyed the Thunder and rain and nothing leaked, nothing leaked. I I we live in a nice home that doesn’t have leaks. I I used to live in a lot of homes that are nice Have leaks though. When you had a ton of rain and we lived in an old house. My wife and I, we got married real old. I don’t know, 1930s, maybe early ’40s it was Built and it’s it’s. It it had a a special beautiful, The roof line. It was in St. Louis City and it it always seemed to leak. It was always if you got. If we got one of those big Storms. It just seemed like There was a little water. Here and no water knock on wood, so that was good. And so I’m optimistic today. I’m optimistic. There you go and you should be optimistic too.

So today’s WYNK is this, there is some coverage now because they caught the guy. I was gonna come on and say as I was preparing, I was gonna say, Oh my gosh, Can you believe it? There is an Illegal alien, illegal immigrant who’s convicted of murder and escaped from prison. And it’s fine. And then and at the time I was getting ready for this, I was gonna Say that he Was not captured. He was on the loose still for a day and 1/2 or two days, but he has been caught. Thankfully. His name is Daniel Cavalcante. Daniel Cavalcante, here in America illegally here in America illegally, killed his girlfriend. Now, I don’t want to stand in judgment of the guy’s Crimes in the sense that he did the crime. He’s got to do the time. However I do want. To point out. If you’re Donald, years ago, Donald Trump said they’re not sending their best when he talked about who is coming to this country. Illegally. When you don’t have a policy that controls your border, that actually says who’s coming who you want to be here, you’re gonna get whoever wants to come and. And let’s be honest, I don’t know this guy. I’m not judging him except to say he committed murder. He’s convicted of it, and therefore he’s probably not the best. That’s not who I’d call the best. Not saying it’s the worst either. maybe it was a a crime of passion. Or something I don’t know, but how can it be That this is going on in this country where you get reports from RFK Jr. You don’t. You’re not getting reports from Ed Martin. Who you know has long said close the border. RFK Junior went down to the border. He’s a Democrat, he had said. Lots of things about how in his in fact, his uncle Teddy was the engineer of a lot of this. A lot of the immigration, a lot of the illegal immigration that’s bad for the country, I would argue, was done by Teddy Kennedy and and then the legal stuff too. But so RFK junior’s. Not exactly the guy. You think is gonna be hardline? He goes to the border and he reports. He reports on the border. We’re at the point where the the fake news media is so dishonorable. It’s so, that’s wrong. That’s wrong. Discredited. That’s right. Discredited. The mainstream media is so discredited that everybody’s a reporter. And if you believe them, if you say, well, you know, I don’t think RFK Junior’s A. Guy that lies much. I haven’t seen that. And some people might look at him say yeah. He’s a liar. All the time I I don’t see. It I see A guy that tells it tells. The truth. He’s pretty Careful with his words. He’s pretty experienced and savvy. I don’t agree with him on stuff I don’t agree with him on abortion, for example. But he goes down. To the border and he reports. Who’s coming through the border? And who’s coming through the border is not. Families of five, nuclear families that are, you know, going to church when they get here. That that’s what they make us. They want us to think. Why are you against people that have these great Christian values coming here to get a better life and and? And the answer is that’s not who’s coming. What RFK Junior reported from the border was who’s coming are 18 to 25 year old aged men from all over the world, not Latin America – Africa, you know, Afghanistan, Pakistan, countries. So again, I don’t have any evidence that they’re terrorists. But let’s not pretend when we see Daniel Cavalcante I think he was Brazilian, by the way. So he did come from a, you know. From the southern Hemisphere. But but what we we don’t have any we. Don’t have any indication. I don’t have any indication that they’re terrorists. I do have an indication that we don’t know who they are and we and and we now we have Pennsylvania for a day and 1/2 has a a manhunt for a murderer who escaped from the jail who is here illegally.
Seal the border, forget build the wall, seal the border, seal the border. You know, pause and that’s the line. That’s one of the lines that the late Phyllis Schlafly would use. Pause all immigration until we get a handle on it.
Pause all immigration until we Get a hand on it and let me be clear, I’m saying pause ALL immigration, including green cards, until we get a handle on it. And you know what will happen because of the intensity. Of a lot of the industries that want green cards, you’re going to get a lot of people rushing to the table to figure out what we need.
My argument is we need very, very little immigration of any kind, but I’m open to people making arguments about certain areas where we need immigration, and then we control it. Then we decide who we want.
You know, there’s a there’s a story that I often report repeated when Dominik Tarczyński, the the Polish legislator who’s now in the European Parliament, and he came to America and he came to America the same week in September, I don’t know, six years ago, five years ago, seven years ago, and he, no, no, let’s see. Oh, years of 20. Yeah. 6 years ago and he talked about immigration, he said. Poland has zero immigration, illegal immigration. And someone pushed him and said, but don’t you have a lot of legal? He said. Yeah, of course. We need a lot of workers. But you can come to Poland. You can be, as you can be a worker on a visa and Then you have to leave and if you overstay they will throw you out.
And my point here. Is just him describing. That’s their policy. We have to get a policy that’s actually enforced by our government. We we have to get a policy, a set of laws that our government enforces and the only in my mind the only way to do that is total pause, which will force everybody to the table. And then you’ll have a conversation. And again, I’ll be at the table saying I’ll be uh, I’ll be yelling at the people at the table. Or talking to the people at the table saying do less. A lot less. There’s lots of Americans. It will. It will tighten the labor market and make it better for Americans, but do less, I would say, but that’s a discussion.
Right now. We have murderers, we have illegal immigrants coming in who are murderous. We have all these according to RFK, Junior, all these young men coming in, we have a a coverage of Todd Bensman, the reporter, investigative reporter. In his first book on national Security Threats, saying look coming through the border are people that are spies are people that are terrorists. This is his argument, not mine. And he’s just describing what he sees. He’s describing what he sees. We we have a problem that the borders are wide open and the problem is not. It’s not esoteric, it’s not theoretical. It’s killing. You know, Kate Steinle was the name of the woman. You might remember her. She was murdered in San Francisco by an illegal alien, and she became the sort of touchstone the the the point that people would say Kate Steinle needs to not happen again, Kate Steinle needs to be prevented and Donald Trump, when he ran in 2016, he talked about building a wall and and this Daniel Cavalcante it should be another touchstone. Seal the border, pause immigration, stop the madness, stop the madness. Stop the madness. Slow it down. And the the reality is we can then make some decisions that make sense. And I’m I worry about I, by the way. I worry about that. I think there’s a lot of conservatives and Republicans that will want to have a to lose an immigration policy, but that’s at least a policy. Right now it’s the cartels and the bad guys that are controlling our immigration at the border. And it’s insane that it’s happening. It’s actually insane that it’s happening and it’s happening in this country. I I don’t know what to think about it. I don’t know what to do about it. I just know I hope this issue now becomes a a touchstone that people can point to and say, aha, see that? Think about what’s happening. We have to pay for that guy in prison in America because he’s here illegally. It’s not cheap. I mean, you know, I I don’t. It’s not like a hotel room, but it’s not cheap. We have to pay for staff. We have to. Pay now for. Catching him when he escapes. And I think when you’re if it’s, I don’t know if you have a life term or not, I don’t didn’t see. The coverage of. That if you have a life life without parole, if you ever got paroled, let me say it this way of that kind of crime you would supposedly sent home to your country. But you know what? If you’d seal the border, if you’d seal the border and pause the immigration, then we can decide. Then we can decide and we can make decisions that are based on what we want. Just like when Poland, when the people are when our Dominik Tarczyński described hey we we made a decision. We want work visas. So we’ll have people come with work visas. We made a decision. That’s our decision as a nation. That’s our decision in terms of sovereignty. We’ve got to get there and I hope this issue will now become a centerpiece.
