Welcome, Welcome, welcome. It’s Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report. Lots to cover today.
In a few moments we’ll talk with Mike Davis. Mike Davis is an accomplished attorney as well as a a, and I’d say, experienced. I don’t have an expert. Experienced in all of the battles for confirmation. He was a a former a Judge Gorsuch clerk, then clerk for him on the Supreme Court, also worked for Senator Grassley, experienced hand in the in the sort of battles, used to be the battles about confirmation about policy, about legislation. Now he’s got a a post over on Twitter referring to lawfare and how they’re going to get Trump using lawfare. So we’ll talk with Mike Davis about that and a lot more.
So I I’ve been thinking about today’s WYNK. As you know, we start the Pro America Report each day with the WYNK, What you need to know. Every single day gives you what you need to know what you need to know is sort of a couple of links, couple of things, couple of things to think about. And we start the program, the Pro America Report, we start the report with the WYNK and I’ve been thinking about this one overnight because I got up early. I went to bed late and got up early and I’ve been thinking about how many places in the world seemed to be falling apart and I wanted to. I want to say to you that weak American leadership is a huge problem in terms of the world kind of rolling all over us.
And then I maybe in my sleep induced state being drowsy, I was. I was getting slightly more generous and I was saying to myself, well, maybe it’s just that the world is impossible to manage anymore. And it’s not just weak leadership, because the weak leadership of this President, Joe Biden, is so obvious. That, you know, Putin’s taking advantage of him. Kim Jong Un over in North Korea is building some sort of nuclear sub and openly flaunting the fact that he’s doing that. We have the Saudis working with Iran and others. We have China, the Communist Party on the move, you know, surrounding Taiwan, funding all kinds of things in Africa and other places, and we are left with Joe Biden giving a couple of speeches and making dumb jokes. And Anthony Blinken kind of traveling around the country, getting ignored.
You know, even Joe Biden is gonna go, and he’s gonna think how great he is. He loves to talk about his Irish heritage. He’s gonna go back to Ireland and the the Good Friday Accords are unraveling. For lots of reasons, some of it has to do with Brexit, which is unraveling. Some of it have to do with the troubles. They call it the troubles. But you know the world. Does not have a strong American presence because we don’t have a strong leader. Now I again I’m. I’m I’m back to being slightly generous and and willing to Sort of say, Well, maybe the world has just gotten sort of ungovernable. Ungovernable.
But they come back and what you need to know is. When your priorities are clear. People play to your priorities. So what Joe Biden’s priorities are clear. He’s clearly focused on picking winners and losers, using government to help people succeed in in transferring wealth in empowering people. He’s clearly, you know. He’s now hosting TikTok. Most people I know have gotten to the mature position where I was a long time ago. That TikTok is a threat to our national security. It’s not just a threat to our data. It’s a threat because the Communist Party is controlling it and it is influencing how people understand things. It’s and it’s bad. Now I I I’m of the opinion by the way, that all of social media is that way and it should be banned for anyone under the age of, say 16 and it should be, have a warning on it and you should be able to. I don’t know even get the trial lawyers on on the fact that they’re getting people hooked on this and acting certain ways, but, but certainly as to TikTok. The communist regime has shown a willingness to use it. To influence America and Joe Biden doesn’t mind. Why? Well, it it feels like, I can’t know for sure, but it feels like the fact that he is benefiting from that, that he is the one that’s benefiting his, his viewpoint, the chaos that’s happening is benefiting him. I I it. It feels like that. If you’re, if you’re thinking of some, someone has.
They’ve been writing about and again it’s anecdotal only so far about how the transgender movement is really popularized. And on TikTok and then if you’re on TikTok, you’ll see how great that is and you’ll see encouragement. And I don’t know, I’m not sure that that’s scientifically proven or or, you know, kind of analyzed. But here’s what you can go through.
You go through every part of the world. And the bad guys are on the move.
China to Taiwan, Kim Jong Un and North Korea, uh the Russians and Ukrainian stalemate. Whatever you think of it, it’s a stalemate at this point. The Saudis, the Iran, Latin America in terms of the Chinese influence, Africa, the Chinese influence. One after another, the world is not about – EU, so we have the French, the French President Macron, go visit China and on his flight home on Air Force One, the the French version, he gives an interview where he basically says we have to stop being so mean to China. We have to stop caring about Taiwan. We have to stop making a big deal about it and then he basically says if we do this right, we, Europe, can be one of the superpowers. It’ll be China and us, and we can’t pick sides with America. You gotta love the French, right? You gotta love the French. I mean, you gotta love these guys. Like, no matter what. I mean, we pay more to secure Europe than anybody. We do more than France a nuclear power, more than Germany, an industrial power. We pay more to secure Europe. We pay more to keep Europe from being threatened and overrun. And yet we get lectured by France, who wants to side with China and the reality, of course, is. We don’t have anybody strong enough in our leadership to straighten these guys out to to to demand that they behave honorably and so they’re not going to. And so here’s what you need to know.
The real problem here is what is what is going to What is going to happen? When things move in a place like China, Taiwan. Is this president? Ohh I, by the way, I’m sorry. I’m looking back at my notes, what you need to know.
Massive leak over the weekend. Massive leak onto Discord, A A encrypted platform of a whole bunch of national security secrets and national security reports that all, that laid out for people. What’s going on in Ukraine? What’s going on in Russia and everybody’s scrambling and Americans, it was leaked from America. It was we we, you know, again. America does all this stuff for the rest of the world. It looks like the leak is is probably prepared reports for the Joint Chiefs and others that was transmitted to what they call the Five Eyes, the the the certain nations that share intelligence with each other. And so it someone leaked it, but we prepared it and it’s all our stuff. And Ukraine is embarrassed and Russia’s laughing, and the world is mocking us.
Again, what’s gonna happen in China, Taiwan, when something goes down? Does anybody have any confidence in General Milley, in the Joint Chiefs, in the vision of this President?
At a certain point, we get distracted by another shooting. We get distracted by Tennessee legislators complaining this and that all kind of, we got distracted by Trump’s lawfare against Trump. We’ll talk with Mike Davis. In a minute. And meanwhile. The one thing that keeps the world stable. Is a strong America. I’ve said it 1000 million times. Well, not a million, thousands of times. The idea of a strong America requires military superiority that we we be bigger and stronger than anybody else so that we can keep peace, so that peace is required.
And right now, we’re stretched thin in Ukraine. We’ve got gender dysphoria in our military. We’ve got the Defense Department doing every woke thing under the sun, and then we’re pretending it’s all gonna work out when it’s woke. It won’t work. If it’s woke it won’t work in the long run. And we’re watching this stuff and the cut, the world is saying, huh, you guys aren’t militarily superior. You’re not strong anymore. You’re not carrying yourself strong strongly with strength. Piece in Politico about some of the the Republicans who are more focused on the problem of China than Europe and Ukraine and everything else, and some of those guys are basically saying if you don’t have the right priorities. You got nothing. That’s how it feels. All right, that’s what you need to know.
