Don’t Be Fooled by the Art of the Deal, Democrat Style
Washington, D.C.: The Department of Justice has withdrawn a dangerous and absurd plan to pay out $450,000 dollars to illegal immigrant families that were separated at the border.
“While this is certainly a victory to celebrate, we must be vigilant for whatever ludicrous proposal is right behind it,” Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin said. “Make no mistake, this is the Democrats’ version of ‘The Art of the Deal.’ It’s a well known negotiation tactic to ask for the moon and then feign retreat to a seemingly more reasonable position that was the goal all along.
“It leaves me to wonder just what horrendous policy or procedure the administration was covering for when this insane payment plan was floated.”
“Don’t fall for these tricks,” said Martin. “The border wall still hasn’t been built. Our border is not secure! No matter what our cause for celebration, we must hold the line on border security.”
