70% Of Americans Want Increase in Domestic Oil & Gas Production
Washington, D.C.: “Gas prices are climbing every day, and so is the number of Americans who want the Biden administration to allow increased domestic gas and oil production,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Joe Biden was handed an energy exporting America, but in less than a year managed to completely halt new domestic production, peel back production levels under his predecessor, and approve the Russian pipeline that established Vladimir Putin’s economic stranglehold on Europe. Now as gas prices surpass even the historic increase of 2008, Biden is about to ban the import of hundreds of thousands of barrels a day without even offsetting those costs with domestic production?”
Rasmussen reports that the issue of domestic drilling is now 70% in favor and only 18% opposed. That’s right: our 50/50 divided nation is 70/18 in favor of something! A whopping 55% of Democrats want domestic energy production increased. A 52% majority of voters say Trump’s energy policies were better than Biden’s, and just ahead of midterm elections, 88% of all voters report that energy prices are important to them.

“Let the GOP take note that Americans don’t want foreign wars and meddling — they want U.S. energy production expanded now! It’s time for Congress to topple the Executive Branch’s asinine policies and bring relief to Americans. Don’t fund the distant wars of corrupt tyrants in Europe. Fund the vital infrastructure of American energy now!”
