Biden’s ‘America Last’ Plan Stopping Everything But Border Chaos
Washington, D.C.: “America has passed a grave milestone in overdose deaths, and it’s time for U.S. officials to face the fact that their open border is pouring fuel on the fire,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “In 2021, the United States saw a 15% jump in the number of overdose deaths—a new number of 107,000. What should shock us even more is that deaths involving fentanyl and synthetic opioids of the like were more than 71,000 of those record deaths. What can we do to stop this disturbing upward trend? Close the southern border!
“We have pointed to it often, but the number-one source of fentanyl and similar synthetic drugs is Communist China, via the southern border. The chemical components go from China to Mexico, where they are processed and then smuggled across the border to America.
“The Biden Administration could put a huge dent in this trend almost instantly, but instead they are enacting border policies that put Americans last. In fact, basically every action Biden takes appears to be part of some ‘Put America Last’ platform. The direct connection to fentanyl and our wide-open southern border are plainly available and incontrovertible. Again I ask, as I did yesterday, when will even a few Democrats in Congress come to their senses? When will Americans wake up and see what’s being pushed on them from the highest levels?
“The 2022 midterm elections must be a political revolt the likes of which we have never seen. Make no mistake, this cannot be just a red wave that installs Republicans in name only. We need authentic, principled conservatives who will fight to secure our sovereignty, uphold our Constitution, and protect our citizens. Until that shift happens, Joe Biden and his cronies (and controllers) across federal government will continue to put America last, continue to allow the free flow of Chinese fentanyl into our nation, and continue to see record numbers of Americans die. The overdose deaths won’t change until our border policies do.”
