Second Largest Voting Block Floods to the Right Amid Economy Shift and Culture War
Washington, D.C.: “Democrats are losing Hispanic voters in droves and it’s no wonder why,” said Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin. “From the Biden Administration’s atrocious handling of the economy and the border to their shocking agenda marching through classrooms, they have made clear to Americans that they are out to destroy our freedom, our prosperity, and our families. As a result, they are about to lose the second biggest voting block in America in an historic shift.
“The latest polling trends show that Biden’s 59% victory in 2020 with Hispanic voters has dramatically shifted to only 12% ‘strong approval’ and a whopping 54% disapproval. Notably, this staggering shift isn’t just theoretical poll work! Last year, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin won among Hispanics by nearly 12 points, a once unthinkable margin for Republicans.
“The biggest issue that shifts Hispanic voters away from the left is their policies of open borders and unrestricted illegal immigration. Over 70% disapprove of Biden’s handling of the border and incoming immigrants. This week’s polling isn’t surprising, in light of the Biden Administration announcement they’ll begin heavier exceptions at the border ahead of May’s Title 42 expiration.
