Three States Sue To Stop Worsening Disaster
Washington, D.C.: “The Biden White House has made a major step in ensuring the border crisis will be completely unfixable,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “The Biden Administration, through the CDC, has repealed Title 42, a Covid-era policy that allowed Border Patrol agents to turn away illegal immigrants at the border more quickly.
“In 2021, more than 2 million illegals crossed our southern border—this policy change will surely make 2021 look like a drop in the bucket. Illegal crossings in Yuma, Arizona alone in the last month are already up more than 1,100%. Make no mistake: the Biden administration is purposefully destroying our national sovereignty through these heinous border changes.
“Not only are three states suing, but part of the Biden Administration is raising the alarm at Biden’s policy shift! Customs and Border Patrol, an executive agency, has announced that this concerning shift will lead to the flood of millions of people who have waited these last two years. Surely now they will surge over the wide-open border, with CBP unable to turn them back.
“Where is Congress? Where are the courts? We need the checks and balances of our republic to stand up now and stop the manufactured madness at our southern border!”
