Border Patrol Encounters 1.3 Million Illegal Aliens
Washington, D.C.: “Our southern border has been in chaos since Joe Biden assumed office,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles, “and now the administration is losing control. Texas Congressman Chip Roy published the preliminary July numbers from Customs and Border Patrol and they are flabbergasting.
“More than 1,300,000 illegals have come into contact with CBP in Fiscal Year 2021. July saw the most contacts recorded in a single month since the year 2000. And get this: CBP also confiscated more than 8,500 pounds of fentanyl during those first nine months of the fiscal year. Not only is that 234% more than last year at this time, but it’s enough to kill every single person in America five times over.”
Martin concluded, “Our nation should be screaming about this at the top of our lungs. We are under attack. Every single American must be up in arms and demanding the White House shut down the border. Put a stop to the rampant drug trade. Bring down the hammer on human trafficking. End the recycling of children by smugglers to get across the border. Stop incentivizing illegal entry. We must take action now before our America disappears.”
