Immigration and Customs Enforcement Violates Congressional Statute
Washington, D.C.: “It appears the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement is bent on hiding their shocking 2021 statistics from the American people,” said Ed Martin, President of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles.
America witnessed more recorded illegal crossings of our border in fiscal year 2021 than any other time in history, however ICE has yet to release a long-standing end-of-year report totaling deportations and a litany of other fiscal figures.
“At this point we’re left to assume Biden is trying to hide just how badly his administration has bungled immigration and national security,” Martin continued. “The White House has gone silent, desperately trying to avoid transparency and it’s no wonder. Nearly two-thirds of Americans disapprove of this administration’s handling of immigration and border policy. It’s an absolute train wreck.
“No matter how hard Biden and his bureaucrats may try, they can’t hide their failures. The American people are watching, and a political reckoning is coming.”
