Washington, D.C.: “Crisis has been fomenting at our southern border since President Biden took office, and he can’t run from it anymore,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Despite his administration’s desperate attempts to blame President Trump or relabel the crisis, there’s no escaping the truth. This crisis at our border is a result of Biden’s policies.”
Immigrants freely admit that they are flocking to the border because of Biden. The White House has largely tried to keep quiet their policies and nominations, but the cat’s out of the bag.
“The Justice Department has reversed Trump’s fight against sanctuary cities,” Martin continued. “Biden’s nomination to lead Immigration and Customs Enforcement is the very sheriff who made Houston a ‘sanctuary city.’ Despite this dance to make leftist agitators happy, Biden still flip flops on policy and semantics.”
Martin concluded, “Biden’s border bungling is flopping with the American people, even those in his own Democrat Party. A poll last week found a whopping 55% of the public disapproves of Biden’s handling of immigration and our borders. You can bet he won’t address any of this crisis tonight in his speech to Congress, but the American people aren’t fooled by the Narrative Machine. There’s a crisis of his doing at the border and we want it fixed now.”
