Biden’s Border Patrol Actively Undermines Texas’s Operation Lone Star
Washinton, D.C.: “It’s no secret that the Biden White House has allowed our southern border to become a full-blown crisis, but the details still leave us flabbergasted,” said Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin. “Video surfaced this week of Texas National Guard troops standing watch at a section of border fence in Eagle Pass. In accordance with Operation Lone Star, Texas guardsmen stood watch at a locked gate, with several dozen illegal crossing wishfuls looking on from the other side.
“The staring contest ended abruptly when U.S. Border Patrol agents came along to unlock the fence and just let them in! Of course the claim is so that illegal immigrants can be processed, but the well-documented reality is that these people are simply released into the interior of the country, with no real accountability.
“Watching this stark contrast in footage is absolutely stunning and outrageous. The federal government under the Biden Administration is literally working against our states in the effort to secure our borders and protect American citizens and residents! One is left to wonder when the situation between state and federal enforcement at our border is going to boil over.
“As Americans pay the price for the left’s economic agenda at the pump and the grocery store, Joe Biden is exacerbating the situation as best he can by unleashing millions of illegals into America. We must take action to stop this practice, now!”
