I mean, we could go into the Trump trial at it. You know, the, the, the, the HUSH money trial keeps going and all the shenanigans from that Bob Menendez has gotten himself into some hot water and his trial just kicked off this week. Hunter Biden’s gun Trial begins next month. Oh my goodness. There’s just there’s trials everywhere, trials everywhere, show trials and all sorts of stuff.
Well, in fact it is a show trial in case you didn’t hear the White House press secretary KJP I was telling my coworker today I’m going to go by my initials. Apparently that’s the cool thing to do. But Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary for President Joe Biden at the White House. Said this week in response to what do you think about Speaker Johnson showing up at the New York County Court or New York Courthouse? Her response was well, I I I can’t. I don’t wanna go into that because it is in fact a 2024 matter. That’s a political thing. So it left the rest of us to look and say I’m sorry. The case against Donald Trump, you say a political matter, something related to 2024? Yeah, we all knew that. I’m just surprised you admitted it out loud. Well, that’s what happened.
So in case you needed one more bit of confirmation, the Political show trial against Donald Trump happening this year because of an election year. There you go.
The White House from the mouth of the White House press secretary, she. The trial against Donald Trump, a political affair related to 2024.
Ohh boy.
But on the other side of the 2024 election that that’s what I want to talk about today.
That’s what I think is incredibly important. That’s what I think matters in in a sense of we are hurtling toward November 2024, we know what must happen.
They cannot be Joe Biden or whoever they potentially come up with at the. At the Democrat National Convention this summer, you know, God help us all, who they might come up with if it’s not Joe Biden, but we know the answer to that question that we all face on November 2nd, November 2nd. What day is it here? Let me double check that. But we know the question that we all face. On November, I’m sorry 5th not second on November 5th this year.
But here, here’s the next question. So when Prayerfully, when Donald Trump gets back in office. As a lame duck president with no electoral cares in front of him, what does he do? It is time for conservatives to push forward. And incredibly sharp. Ready to go? Ready to rock’n’roll. Ready to kick big government in the teeth agenda.
We need good men and women to be fearless in pushing forward a limited government agenda. So here, here’s what you. Well, let me back this up and just say what you need to know is.
America needs bold big government cuts. After 2024. We we need bold big government cuts. No more of this. You know, messing around and omnibus this and breaking promises there and not dealing with it is time for some bold moves.
And Congress needs to do it. And the White House needs to do it and they need to back each other up and we don’t need to pussyfoot around on all of this. It is time for some bold moves. And and it matters because here’s here’s what you know makes me go down this road. Here’s something that you should see and know we’ve talked a little bit on the program in the past.
Argentina’s new president. I say new newish president Javier Milei. President Milei.
He was considered crazy, a lunatic, a threat to democracy. Sound familiar stuff. They called him Donald Trump, but he didn’t care. He gave an absolute, just earth-shattering promise to take a chainsaw to government, and he did. He literally brought out chainsaws at his campaign events and rallies. But he’s done that.
He took the economy and the bloated government of Argentina, and he has started to hack, not indiscriminately, but drastically something that we haven’t seen anything on the left or the right do in probably my lifetime. No, not my lifetime. More than that. Double my lifetime. We haven’t seen this kind of major reform in 100 years in America. This kind of major move in 100 years in America. Here’s some of the stuff going on in Argentina.
And then let me tell you why it matters for us. Because again, the the what you need to know. We need bold, big government cuts. If we are going to survive as a nation, so I know that we are focused on getting Trump in office, we must win.
But when he wins, when those people in Congress win, which is the decision we’re all looking at, we don’t just need Republicans. We need conservatives with the guts to do what needs to be done. Here’s here’s what Argentina’s Javier Milei Is doing.
He walked into office with inflation soaring through the roof at like, 300% and over 40% of the population in poverty. This was the result of leftist social economic policy, socialist, excuse me, leftist socialist economic policies. That’s what they had done to the nation Argentina once. Thriving powerhouse of a nation. But guess what, Javier Milei has come in, brought his metaphorical chainsaw to big government, and he is seeing. Therefore, nearly 300% inflation has dropped to 11%. The country just posted their first modest, it’s small, but it’s a surplus nonetheless. The first budget surplus since 2008, and this is pretty incredible for a country that has run deficits for 113 of the last 123 years. Yeah.
So Milei came in and did what he said he was going to do. He started hacking. And I mean, he’s far from done. But he is far from hacking and and actually, he promised one of the things he promised to do is get rid of the central bank. He hasn’t gotten around to it yet, but the Central bank cut interest rates for the third time in three weeks. Now they’re still at a blistering 50% interest, which that’s, you Think about the the complaints we made of the some of the housing market interest here 50% interest. They are finally down too. Holy cow. But listen, here’s here’s what’s happened.
Even without a majority in Parliament he has been ruthless. He axed whole ministries or agencies of the Government, Ministry of Culture. Gone. Anti discriminate agents and anti discrimination agency gone. State owned news service gone.
And then last month, he unveiled plans to fire another 70,000 state employees. He has gone after with his chainsaw, things that aren’t really in vogue to touch and and in America are being pushed upon us now to expand. He pared back workers’ rights, reduced maternity leave, severance compensation, he went after allowing companies to fire workers who went on strike. I mean, think about it.
These are issues that we’re being told in America we need to expand. These are some of the issues that have been killing Argentina and someone has brought finally his chainsaw, his huge cut. It’s and huge, not not little gradual cuts or controlled budgets or hiring freezes.
He has just absolutely decimated sections of their big government state and it is yielding huge savings for the nation. This is the kind of bold. Leadership that we need in America, and I’m not saying that we should have a wild haired economist run and this I’m I’m saying that the people who are there now need to put on their boots and realize what must be done if we don’t want to end up like Argentina where the money is worthless. The 40% of the people fall into poverty. This is what is ahead of us. If we don’t change now, we’re already toeing. We’re dipping our toes into that end of the pool, and I think a lot of folks in America can contest that. That that’s pretty bad. It sucks, and we don’t want to be there. Well, guess what?
We need leadership to do what needs to be done to govern and govern well, that is what is needed. That’s what’s needed after 2024. In November. We need Trump. We need Congress to come in and do some of the drastic things like Javier Milei is doing and save us from getting as far down the road as they have gotten.
Guess what – free markets work. Shocker. Who would have thought it? Argentina is finding it out yet again because I mean, political stability. This hasn’t really been a thing for Argentina, but he is bringing it. Javier Milei is bringing it. There is a great lesson here that Republicans, conservatives, we must be bold enough to learn the results that Javier Milei is delivering in Argentina. We need real, drastic cuts to big government. That’s what you need to know.
