The following is a transcript from the Pro America Report with Ed Martin.
Welcome, welcome. Welcome. It’s Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report. Great to be together so much happening. NBC News. Nbcnews.com. I don’t even know who watches NBC News. I certainly don’t know who reads nbcnews.com. They have a hit piece on. Me. They write all about me and they call me. I don’t know, something dramatic. Prominent. Stop The Steal organizer. Prominent. Stop The steal organizer has been assigned to write the platform. Well, you all know me as just Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report. But we’ll talk about that in a few moments and a lot more. Had a long interview that I pre recorded with an author about his book. And it’s very interesting to me because he is a professional, he’s actually a professional. I’m gonna say creator, but everybody thinks you’re a creator now. He’s a he’s a professional director. That’s right. He the way to say it. He directed other peoples content. He was in advertising. He was in production of of television for young people, for children, and that’s where he came out of and he he decided to write a book and he decided to tie it in to the the 1776 and the founders in a very interesting way. His name is Travelino. Excuse me. Travelino, Rob Travelino. We’ll talk with him in a few moments. Lengthy interview. Which I think you’ll enjoy
But first. You Know what you need to know today? What you need to know today if you if you get my emails that go out, go to proamericareport.com proamericareport.com sign up there, get the emails, go out the WYNK. What you need to know went out today and talked about Bannon, Steve Bannon, Steve Bannon got the word yesterday that they’re commanding him to go to jail. I think it’s July 1st. And I have to say, you talk about characters in in American history and characters in American Public life Bannon cuts this, cuts this, you know, kind of figure across American politics across, I don’t know, everything that they’re doing. He’s just he’s just a character. I mean, he was friends with Breitbart. He was an investor in Seinfeld. He he. And then he got into after he was friends with Breitbart. When Breitbart died, they needed somebody to sort of steer the ship. He stepped in there. And then he became this kind of a, you know, kind of political consultant, worked in the White House. He’s got the War Room. He’s done all sorts of stuff. He’s a big figure. He’s a big figure, and he’s a real Character.
But he’s really smart and really well read and a really nice guy. That’s that’s one of the tricks that people don’t really want to make Bannon into a mean guy, a nasty guy. Everybody likes him.
He actually gets along with. I mean, well, let’s say he does. He he makes some good enemies, but he gets along with people a lot. He’s got a lot of Irish in him, as they say. And I look I, Phyllis Schlafly. For, you know, 20 years ago he did a movie about voices from the heartland. It must have been that was close to 20 years ago because it was. It was 2008. Around that period, maybe right after. So I guess 16 years it was and Sarah Palin featured in it and and Phyllis Schlafly and he and he wrote he did a, a documentary kind of thing. And and Phyllis got to know him. And I got to know him and we had him at our events in Saint Louis. And he’s been a a part of a lot of different things we’ve done and very, very interesting. Good guy.
And he did. What if you look closely in the NBC story I did, which was when they gave, in fact, he did it more than I did. When they gave me a subpoena from the Select Committee – January 6. I ignored it. And I just didn’t show up. And I bet my bet turned out to be right that I was a small fish compared to Bannon. Bannon didn’t, refused to speak to them and didn’t speak to them. And then they went after him. And then because he was a big fish, I was a small fish. He was a big fish. But but he’s he all that nonsense. And here’s the thing, the underlying activity.
All of it was a lie. The Select Committee I’m talking about on January 6th. They were lying about everything. They were misleading about everything. They were. They were releasing facts, quote unquote. They said these are facts about things when they knew they were lies.
They were blocking people from testifying when they could have contradicted the lies.
In other words, they were not honest brokers. The Select Committee and yet they were able to use the law to convict Steve Bannon. And now a judge is sending him to jail. Think about that. And so as one of the commentators said. Guys like Bannon have been hunted, they’ve been hunted by the Biden DOJ by the Select Committee on January 6 by the liars. These are liars. These are not these are. This is not a case of I made a mistake. There’s times where people have made a mistake they they had caught in a mistake. Now, sometimes by the way, they go and look at someone until they find the mistake. Right. I mean, you gotta wonder, like, with Al Capone, they got Al Capone on tax evasion cause they couldn’t get him on everything else. They just wanted to stop him. You can like that or not like that.
What’s going on right now is it looks like they’ll come after you no matter what, they’ll go through your underwear drawer and find something and say, haha, now you’re really a bad guy. But with Bannon they didn’t have that. They just had that he refused to speak to this boondoggle, this, this, this Soviet style fake committee that was aided and abetted by the television shows, the television, the the cable channels as well as mainstream TV, all that. Unbelievable.
And he’s going to go to jail. And here’s the craziest part about. And I mean again, he’s an epic figure. He’s a he’s a historic figure and his voice is strong. He’s really strong voice. He’s got a big following and the following he’s got, he motivates. He’s masterful at this stuff. And they’re putting him off the field on July 1st. For four or five months, but through the election.
I mean, again, at what point when the Democrats stand up and they say, hey, hey, hey, watch out, they might interfere with them, they might interfere with the democratic process, they might interfere with democracy, they might mess with elections.
Well, I mean, everything they say is what they’re doing.
You take Bannon’s voice off the field. See Bannon’s voice does two things. One, he’s smart, so he sees stuff that other people don’t see, and that’s important. Really important actually, ’cause there’s not that many smart people.
But two. And this is important. He goes hard and he makes other people, other leaders live up to what they’re supposed to be. Because Bannon goes so hard. And goes hard and clear. He he drives his own team, his own side, to be better. That that’s a and it is a very specific characteristic of Bannon’s voice and leadership.
And you’re taking him off the field. Now I have to tell you again, I’m a small fry. Very small. I mean, we got this great program, we’ve got this great community, we got a lot of people that are working. We’re doing our part. I’m not I, you know, I’ve been. Doing I’m doing a 40 days of prayer for. The right now I’m in the middle of it and and and one of the things I’m doing is dedicating the days and looking at the John MacArthur, Pastor MacArthur’s book on on 40 lives for 40 days and the and the day, the live,
The life today is Andrew and Andrew. Andrew’s the one who sees Christ first. And he, John the Baptist, he’s with John the Baptist. Andrew sees Christ first and he says, huh, that’s the Messiah. Yeah, that’s the Messiah. And then Andrew says I’ll go get Peter. And they say, well, Peter is gonna be a dominant character. He’s a wild man. He’s loud, and then you’re gonna get the, the boys, the sons of Thunder, James and John. They’re gonna come in there and all these guys are rough. Andrew was a guy that was happy to be. You know a smaller Fish and I’m a small fish. I mean, I’m not saying I’m not saying Bannon’s Peter, but you get the point. And so when they came after me for the Select Committee, I was like. I ignored it and they didn’t come back. But just this morning, NBC News NBC News, a guy named Ryan Riley, who has, I have to admit, been contacting me for two or three days, has been contacting me and saying we’ve got questions and ignored them because nothing good comes from NBC or CNN or anything else, especially in Print; if you go on air and try to defend yourself, maybe, but not really.
And so they wrote a piece today and the piece was out. And people are sending it to me and I’m smiling and I’m thinking at least they used a pretty good picture. And they spelled my name right. RNC hires a prominent stop the steal advocate, to help craft. It’s 2020 platform Ed Martin was hired by the RNC in May. He pushed to overturn Donald Trump’s 2020 loss and marched outside the capital on January 6. Well, that’s kind of interesting. It’s kind of interesting. But here’s the thing.
It goes on and says really all a lot of my resume ’cause I didn’t talk to them and so it’s great. It’s great. Says all the cool things I did and then says all kinds of, like, dreamy mind reading things about what I might have thought or might have done. But You know what that is? And I don’t know if you saw Doctor Phil, but if you saw Doctor Phil, the the, the part of Doctor Phil and Donald Trump talking that that that stuck with me. That got me. Was when Donald Trump was asked something and he kind of got a little quieter and he talked about his wife and his son Barron and the impact on. And what he had to do to go through this and. You know he. He looked there like a father and a husband who was going through this thing and they were doing it. They made it up. They made the whole thing a circus, the circus. The process is the punishment. And Ryan Riley, NBC News, they all think ohh, I’ll write up this piece on Ed Martin. We’ll say all these things. They think it sounds bad. I think it sounds really good. I was, you know, I was there on January 6. I wasn’t at the capital. I was at the capital. I wasn’t in the capitol. I didn’t go in. I got there too late. I don’t know if I would have gone in or not. Probably not. But I was there late, but they go to all this stuff, all the, all the jobs I’ve had working for Phyllis Schlafly riding at New York Times best selling book. They go through all of it.
The only thing I didn’t say is I got this great program, the Pro America Report. So, well, that’s too bad, but they not actually. They know not to help you with that. They know not to let people know, you know, go to his website proamericareport.com.
But here is what you need to know. They’re coming. For all of us.
You’re only seeing it. With Trump and Bannon, but you should be reminded that we are all just like them and I’ve been in the room with. Donald Trump, I’ve. Been in the room with, you know, other presidents, Bill Clinton, vice President Gore at the time, John Paul II. The Pope. I worked for him. I saw him every day for a month. I’ve been in the room with people that are, Mother Teresa, that people that are famous. And you think they’ve, Mark McGuire. Big Mac, you know, they’re gonna say, Stan Musial. I sat in the in the box with Stan Musial for 2 1/2 hours and watched the baseball game.
You think to yourself, these people are different than me. And the answer and the real reality is they’re they’re just like us. I mean, they’re special. Talents, but they’re just like us and what they’re doing in this country, using government to come after we, the people. They’re not just, they’re not gonna stop at Bannon. They’re not gonna stop at Trump. They’re not gonna stop at Ed Martin. Not gonna stop at the pro-life Lady going to jail. They’re not gonna stop. That’s what’s at stake. So we’ll pray for Steve Bannon. He’ll do better coming out of jail. He’s amazing. He’ll be amazing. And we’ll fight on. That’s what he wants us To Do.
We got to take a break right now, Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report. Be right back.
