A Century of American Leadership
Washington, D.C.: “America has lost a towering hero in Maj. General John K. Singlaub, who passed away on January 29 at the age of 100, surrounded by his family,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “On behalf of all of our Eagles, I offer my deepest condolences to his wife Joan and their entire family. I am honored to have known and served with General Singlaub in America’s Future, Inc., and to have seen firsthand the effects of his authentic leadership across so many generations of patriots.
“From his earliest days in World War II parachuting behind enemy lines in Europe to his leadership of the secret guerrilla war during Vietnam, General Jack Singlaub forged a legacy of undaunted action and leadership by example. After an illustrious military career, the General continued to serve America, fighting the creep of communism domestically and abroad.”
“His work eventually led to an intersection with Phyllis Schlafly on the board of America’s Future, Inc.,” Martin concluded. “That relationship cultivated over the years and lead to some very special work. I am grateful to have been a part of it and to have known this incredible man. America is undoubtedly better off because of General Singlaub’s faithful service. May he rest in peace.”
