St. Louis, MO: As newspapers and other media today use their public outlets to protest the Trump Administration’s bypassing of traditional media, let’s remember the great accomplishments this past year and just let Trump be Trump.
"Much like the dramatic change that radio, television, and internet brought to politics, Twitter is now changing the landscape," said Ryan Hite, Communications Director. "Franklin Roosevelt used radio and Ronald Reagan used television – both of them bypassing the media establishment at the time and going straight to the American people. In the same way, Donald Trump has ushered in a new era of direct access by using social media. This transformed the mainstream media’s outrage from ‘liberal bias’ to full-blown Trump Derangement Syndrome."
Hite concluded, "The reality is the media establishment cannot stand both the Trump Administration’s pro-America policies and their success implementing them. At most every turn, President Trump’s executive branch has racked up wins for everyday Americans."
Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin spoke with the Lincoln Radio Journal this week on this very topic as well as the upcoming Pennsylvania Eagle Dinners next week in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Listen to his interview here at Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Radio Journal.
