Washington, D.C.: Liberals are in a tizzy over conservative television host Tucker Carlson. Tucker has rapidly achieved one of the biggest reaches among conservative broadcasters, and with it has come intense pressure from the left. Radical group Media Matters is on the march against him over politically incorrect remarks made in an interview over a decade ago.
“Liberals can’t handle opposing viewpoints or a competing message,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Instead of engaging in debate on the issues, they run straight to an assassination of their opponent’s character and credibility. Digging up unflattering or unkind remarks and beating the war drums of outrage is what Media Matters does best. I know it from personal experience!

I was fired because I wouldn’t sit back and take the absolutely ridiculous things that CNN allowed liberals to say on their program. If conservatives won’t take a back seat and ‘be good,’ liberal entities like CNN and Media Matters make it their mission to remove that conservative’s platform altogether.”
Tucker Carlson is an effective and broadly heard voice for conservative values on so many issues that matter to America right now. Conservatives must not play the liberal game and fall for drummed up politically incorrect frenzies. Stand with Tucker.
