Washington D.C.: “On nearly every front, the political left is flailing and failing to keep control of their narrative,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Fortunately for us, they simply aren’t able to keep the national spotlight where they want it, thanks to the dark and depraved following they have built.
“A man was arrested outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home this week, admitting he intended to break into the judge’s home. He had on him a handgun and a knife among other weapons and outdoor gear. Leftwing groups, including one who identifies themselves as ‘Ruth Sent Us,’ have floated the idea of stalking and harassing Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s church and her children’s school. Make no mistake, Democrat leaders have fanned these flames of violence and judicial intimidation with their absolutely insane rhetoric! These aren’t isolated incidents. They are being driven by the narrative of national Democrat leaders like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.
“The crime of intimidating judges is one of our oldest safeguards on the rule of law, and the new leftwing wave of violence and intimidation puts all of us at risk. Without the rule of law, our American republic ceases to exist. Democrats and so-called Republicans can continue to televise dog-and-pony shows to accuse Republicans of violence, but they need look no further than their own ranks to see the authentic threat to life, liberty, and the law. America isn’t falling for their insurrection ‘Trump is the boogeyman’ story. All we see is the political assault upon independent jurisprudence. I pray that the voice of the voters this fall reflects the ire we ought to feel against such blatant attacks on the institution of our law and our nation itself.”
