From Upper Echelons to Rank and File Democrats, Biden’s Speech Has Backfired
Washington, D.C.: “It’s common now to see Democrats from Main Street to K Street abandoning any and all support for the flailing Biden Administration, but the fallout from Biden’s angry speech in Philadelphia has been astounding,” said Phyllis Schlafly eagles President Ed Martin. “In a fiery midterm election address before the backdrop of a blood-red Independence Hall, Biden essentially declared open season on the ‘threat’ of conservatives in America and former President Donald Trump.
“The speech tanked pretty badly, finding a 56.8% disapproval from general election voters. In fact, they called his characterization of so-called ‘Maga Republicans’ as a ‘dangerous escalation in rhetoric and is designed to incite conflict amongst Americans.’ However, the icing on top of this awful Biden polling is the news that Nancy Pelosi may be actively preparing for a job change in 2023.
“It seems the Biden White House has been holding open the plush job as U.S. Ambassador to Italy for her, and she’s getting ready to take it as the likelihood grows of not just a Republican wave sweeping Congress in November, but a very conservative one at that. It’s always a very telling sign when party members distance themselves from their own awful leadership, but the real writing on the wall comes when incumbents start to make career shifts. They know what’s on the way and how to avoid it, and Pelosi’s preparation for the plush life in Rome, Italy, may be the biggest indicator yet of the change coming to Congress.”
