Obviously the Trump Verdict the Trump conviction last week has just sucked the oxygen out of the room. It’s a big deal. We’ve talked about it a lot here on the program. We look forward to it. A lot of other places as well. If you’re a follower of the Phyllis Schlafly Eagles network, you’ll know this is a big deal.
Not just not because it really has anything to do with Trump Per se, but this is a big deal because it has to do with our Republic.
It has to do with key institutions that are being abused and people really understand that and that that’s what I want to talk about a little bit today because the the reaction to the verdict itself, we could go through and and talk about a lot of folks who are picking it apart and and you know that there might be a good segment for that because I’m still hearing from folks on the right Who are asking now, Hold on. Like, why? Why was this such a bad thing? What? What exactly specifically was wrong from front to back? Why was it so problematic? We definitely have an incredible amount of information to talk about on that.
If it was something that you didn’t follow along with, if it’s something you didn’t watch as it was happening, you want to know why it’s such a problem that can be covered.
But here’s here’s what I’m want to focus on today. The response and the reaction Has been so violent against this injustice That I have no doubt in my mind, we have just quite possibly seen Donald Trump’s winning of the 2024 election.
Now, I’ve said this, you know, along the way through, if they convict him, if they throw him in jail, that’s gonna win the election.
I think it’s really happened. And and here’s why. There’s a lot of key factors.
First of all. The donations to the Trump website have been phenomenally huge, but it’s not just that he made a ton of money. Here’s what’s really interesting. And we saw Don Trump junior talked about this on Friday. I think Eric Trump talked about it on Fox News yesterday. That’s where a lot of this information is coming from because obviously, FEC stuff, Federal Elections Commission, by the way, there’s your plug if you wanna go look stuff up. Who gave to who, who’s given to what, all of those different facts. This is all public, the receipts and the disbursements. People receiving or I should say, federal campaigns receiving money and dispersing money. That’s in reports that are filed on the Federal Elections Commission Committee Commission. Oh, my goodness. You see where I’m coming from here? We’ve got too many, too many alphabet soup names.
But the the Federal Election Commission. Publishes all of this at fec.gov. You can go and look it up, but this isn’t from FEC data. This is what we’re hearing from these folks. Here’s here’s a very interesting thing.
It’s not just the pure amount of money, but where it’s coming from that is shocking post conviction here for the Donald Trump campaign. They have raised At least as of today, I saw this reporting. This was yesterday. As of today, I haven’t seen anything else more current. The Donald Trump presidential campaign has raised more than $200 million. Since a Manhattan jury gave him a guilty verdict, convicted him of 34 felonies last week, $200 million in about. What is that Thursday, Friday, Saturday, three or four days. And again, that’s not even counting today. Whatever has happened, this is incredible. That’s huge.
But here’s what’s really shocking about it. There are an incredible amount of small donations, and if you’ve worked in politics at all or worked around campaigns at all, you understand that those small donors that in a certain sense as far as getting votes that represents so much more than big donors who are able to write, you know, maximum allowed checks. Those are great. The maximum allowed checks are incredibly important. You have got to gas up the tank on those campaigns and be able to afford the the incredible expense that they have become to run a campaign and to get out your message.
But when small dollar donors hop and give you $20, 30 dollars, $40. Those are the folks who likely can’t afford to just write giant checks, but those are the folks that are gonna go out and get votes. They’re gonna show up to vote for you. If they are committed enough to give you 20 bucks, they’re gonna show up to vote, and they’re probably going to bring people with them.
Those are the ones who are converting. The grassroots votes the regular, everyday working Americans, many of whom have just checked out of politics. Those small dollar donors are the ones who are going to bring in incredible amount of an incredible amount of vote. And here’s a few of the things that we know.
Lara Trump and and Eric Trump had released this publicly on Fox News this weekend in terms of small dollar donations, at least at this point yesterday, they were over 70 million dollars, $70 million in small dollar donations. And then once you add the larger donations to it, the big dollar ones, you’re over 200 million.
Here’s what the the number that just blew me away 30%. Of these, people donate. Not just the total dollar amount, the number of people who are donating 30% or so are first time political donors. They have never been seen by a political party, by a campaign or a candidate. 1/3 nearly one third of the donors that have brought in this incredible amount of money for Donald Trump the last few days are first time donors in the political realm.
That is huge. That is election winning numbers right there, when 30% of your money givers, your small dollar givers especially are saying I’ve had it, I have had enough. I’m giving this guy my hard earned money that I really can’t afford to give. In many cases. That is a huge number and that is incredibly important. I think that’s incredibly a a huge deal for us to understand that this isn’t just a huge wave of support from Trump’s existing base.
This is the awakening of what we’ve called the silent majority. This is the awakening of the sleeping giant of American Workers and families who have had enough. And throughout all you they may have even been quiet through the Tea Party movement through the anti which this was this based around anti Obamacare. They were quiet through the first Trump administration and election even through the second one.
But since 2020 what we have seen the raw power against we the people that the Biden administration Has poured out upon us, has wielded against its own citizens the cracking wide open of our borders to terrorists and unassimilated folks from all over the globe. We don’t even know who they are, unvetted on everything.
And then giving away voting rights as fast as we can to people coming in or folks who are here, who overstayed their visas, they’re all of these systems, all of this constitutional order. That the Biden administration and their executive agencies particularly. But make no mistake, Congress and the courts too. All of these Horrible offenses to the Constitution and to we the people whom it protects. Are coming to bear.
And the Trump verdict is, it seems, the straw that broke the camel’s back in 2024, because people are coming out in droves.
And it’s not just the. Right. It is all over the place. I saw, you know, look at just the again it some of these things are anecdotal, but guess what? What are statistics? A bunch of anecdotes put together when you have enough Anecdotes. Little bitty examples here and there. That’s what statistics are made-up of Enough of those.
Trump shows up at the UFC championship fight this weekend or I guess I should say, Ultimate Fighting Championship. He’s at the UFC fight this weekend, a crowd of 16,000 people in Newark, NJ that, you know, Newark, NJ, that bastion of Red state is. Although New Jersey is pretty again, there are no blue states.
Let’s be honest. There are only blue cities in red states.
But 16,000 people in Newark, NJ. Huge massive reception for Donald Trump showing up and this was this weekend, right after this Fiction. One of the CNN legal guys who’s on all the time, he popped up and had some pretty nasty things to say about the about the trial and the verdict and everything that had happened. This is CNN’s legal senior senior legal analyst Elie Honig just trashed it, tore it apart. Saying this was an unjustified mess. It was a very scathing analysis piece and this isn’t necessarily the right wing’s right wing,
Alan Dershowitz, a Democrat. He’s no right winger. He said that Trump should fast or could fast track the appeal to the Supreme Court. He criticized it. There was a former FEC commissioner said that the guilty verdict made no sense. In fact, Dean Phillips, one of the guys who was ready, pardon me, one of the guys who was running for president of the United States on the Democrat ticket. He even said that the Governor of New York should pardon Trump for the good of the country. And he doesn’t agree with him. He thinks he’s terrible, but he should be pardoned because this process was abused to take down a political opponent, just like a Banana Republic. Some third world place would do. It’s terrible. And guess what?
They have awakened the sleeping giant. That’s what you need to know. The Trump conviction. Is a landmark moment in the 2024 presidential election. We know what’s happening. I think we do. Let’s hope that it is.
So we’ll be right back. We’re going to go to a couple of great guests. I’ll be back at the end of the program to wrap it up. Don’t miss any of it in between. Go to ProAmericaReport.com and we’ll see you back here right after the break.
