Washington, D.C.: Candidate Donald Trump promised to slash the out-of-control bureaucracy at the Environmental Protection Agency. “We’re going to take a tremendous amount out,” he said. The EPA is infamous for bullying and harassing businesses and property owners, slowing vital progress on industrial projects.
“Like most federal agencies, some EPA functions can be useful, but their bloated bureaucratic expansion of powers is detrimental to Americans,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Donald Trump called them out and, as president, he has taken the teeth out of their bullying of American business. As of July 2020, President Trump had reversed sixty-eight burdensome EPA rules, with thirty-two more repeals in process. Promise made, promise kept.”
President Donald Trump made many significant promises to the American people. During the first three and a half years of his administration he has delivered. The radical left hates this agenda and the Fake News won’t cover it, but voters need to be educated before they go to the polls in November.
