President Trump is keeping his promises; fake news won’t cover it.
Washington, D.C.: Candidate Donald Trump said “I think NATO’s great, but it’s got to be modernized.” Only the U.S., United Kingdom, and Poland were meeting their pledged NATO defense spending. Trump promised to pressure other countries to meet their pledged payments.
“President Trump followed through, putting immense pressure on NATO countries to carry out their own commitments,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “He reminded the world that America paid for 69% of defense spending despite the fact that our U.S. economy comprises less than half of NATO’s economy overall. Trump got results: For four consecutive years, NATO’s defense spending has increased, seven member nations have met their commitments, and sixteen more have unveiled plans to reach theirs over time. Promise made, promise kept.”
President Donald Trump made many significant promises to the American people. During the first three and a half years of his administration he has delivered. The radical left hates this agenda and the Fake News won’t cover it, but voters need to be educated before they go to the polls in November.
