Washington, D.C.: During the 2016 campaign, Donald Trump outlined an “America first” energy plan that promised “complete American energy independence.”
“In just his first few months, President Trump took huge executive steps toward fulfilling his promise on American energy independence,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “The Fake News Media didn’t talk about it but the President cleared the way for the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines. He took steps to reduce our reliance on foreign oil and boosted our oil exports! In fact, in December of 2018 for the first time in more than 70 years, the United States exported more oil than we imported. President Trump achieved what every President since Richard M. Nixon had promised and yet failed to deliver. Yes — Trump has led the U.S. to energy independence. Promise made, promise kept.”
President Donald Trump has made many significant promises to the American people and during the first three and a half years of his administration he has delivered. The radical left hates this agenda and the Fake News won’t cover it, but voters need to be educated before they go to the polls in November.
