President Trump is keeping his promises; fake news won’t cover it.
Washington, D.C.: The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which President Obama considered a key legacy of his administration, was a horrible deal for the American people. Candidate Donald Trump promised to “issue a notification of intent to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership.”
“After only three days in office, President Trump gave official notification that America was pulling out of TPP,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “It would have ended thousands of American jobs as more and more manufacturing moved overseas. President Trump’s reasoning for withdrawing goes beyond the terms of this one arrangement. He has always voiced a strong preference for bilateral trade deals rather than multilateral ones. With a bilateral deal, one can negotiate freely with one other party and find the best solution for both. President Trump is a dealmaker at heart. There’s a reason he pulled out of TPP by the third day of his administration. He’s putting the American people first. Promise made, promise kept.”
President Donald Trump made many significant promises to the American people. During the first three and a half years of his administration he has delivered. The radical left hates this agenda and the Fake News won’t cover it, but voters need to be educated before they go to the polls in November.
