President Trump is keeping his promises; fake news won’t cover it.
Washington, D.C.: Candidate Donald Trump promised to eliminate two of President Obama’s signature policies called Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Both of these programs provided a fast path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. Trump contended that U.S. citizenship should not be carelessly handed out — those who seek to come here legally should be given first consideration.
“Both of these programs were created by executive order under President Obama, and President Trump had full authority to rescind both,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “He rescinded them in 2017, and while the DAPA recision stands, President Trump met fierce opposition and a federal lawsuit blocking his end to the DACA program. After three years in court, the Supreme Court clearly ignored the text of the Constitution and ruled that the Trump administration could not end DACA the same way President Obama started it. Despite the activist courts, the DAPA program is ended and the Department of Homeland Security under the Trump administration announced they will not receive new DACA applications while they reconsider the future of the program. Promise made, promise kept.”
President Donald Trump made many significant promises to the American people. During the first three and a half years of his administration he has delivered. The radical left hates this agenda and the Fake News won’t cover it, but voters need to be educated before they go to the polls in November.
