The following is a transcript from the Pro America Report.
Welcome back. Welcome back, Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report. Thank you for being here. We, as always, have a great program. We will talk a little bit later with John Schlafly, the author, co-author of the Schlafly report, as well as Dr.. Brett M Decker. We’ll talk about the impeachment. Some of the details you’re seeing. I’ll also get a check in with Dr. Decker on the economy. One of his expertise as a former business, business. A businessman who, excuse me, business journalist, out in the in the Pacific. He was in Asia, so we will, we’ll talk with him.
First, let me let me break some of them down for you. I know our listeners are are now attuned to it. But if you’re a first time listener, I want to walk you through exactly what you’re seeing. And remember setting this up. This is all about understanding the narrative machine, the narrative machine, the three senior partners of the narrative machine are big tech, Big media and now the left in big government, those three parties, junior partners, there’s lots of people that participate in the narrative machine. Many of them are unwitting dupes. Some are witting dupes, but the narrative machine goes about redefining what you know, using all kinds of means. Sometimes they even use facts but not the truth. Little details, but not the truth. It is true that some people died on January 6th. What’s not clear is it was a murderous insurrection, and there’s no facts presented about that, for example.
But the narrative machine is so powerful right now because big tech is using neuroscience to change your brains and the brains of your fellow Americans and citizens all over the world, people all over the world to make you believe things. They make you see things, understand things, believe things, and then do. That’s big tech. One of the partners in the native machine. The other partner is Big media, big media, which makes its decisions based on persuading people, agitating them to come back and view more. Agitation for return, agitation for return. And is brainwashing the American people with lies.
The Russia hoax was a lie.
The fine people hoax in Charlottesville a lie. The bleach, drinking bleach hoax is a lie. And now the impeachment, the Insurrection.
The Big, the big steal, as I call it, the November 3rd election, we don’t even know. We don’t even know what it was because we’re not allowed to say that we have doubts. That’s what they call it, the big lie.
But the narrative machine, big tech, big media. And then what’s next? The left. It used to be the left on the outside, now it’s the left in power. It used to be the left had power in California, New York. You saw the damage that was done. Now the left’s power off the federal Government.
And what the narrative Machine is doing again just, and I’ll stop, I’ll explain that. I’ll apply this to what we’re seeing is trying to set the narrative to their maximum advantage for control over We the People. Now a lot of them think they’re doing it for good. Many people think they’re just doing it for good. But some are really evil actors. But here, here’s what’s happening now.
In the first two days of the impeachment trial. What did you see? No recitation of the facts from the impeachment managers, the prosecutors. They didn’t say how the incitement happened. They didn’t link to. In fact, they just asserted things and barely refutations. They said, well, it wasn’t. There was no evidence of any fraud in the election.
That’s the big lie.
Except there’s tons of evidence. There’s been no real transparency. I don’t know if the election was stolen, but I can see lots of evidence and lots of concerns, and when somebody tells you you can’t look close, you can’t look. I tell you all the time when my daughter locks her door in her room. She’s in her room, working on her homework, she says, but suddenly the door to her room is locked. I say, why is the door locked? What are you doing in there? Oh, nothing. Why did you lock the door? Uh, no reason.
Starting point is there’s something going on.
And that’s what we’re seeing. No transparency. The narrative machine is driving the agenda. The impeachment managers, all they asserted was this, and that the other thing. And they didn’t back it up. So the murderous insurrection the coup is happening, except nobody’s presented evidence of murder. Nobody’s presented evidence of armed insurrection, none of that. It’s just a narrative machine hammering it home using big tech, big media and the power government.
And the point, as I’ve told you over and over again is to make you feel that you don’t want to be a part of the people who believe such things. And it may not be you, by the way. I’m not going to be changed in my position because I see what they’re doing, but most normal Americans don’t want to hang around with people that have weird opinions, right?
So if the narrative machine makes it so that the weird opinions are all on one side, asking questions about the election, disagreeing with the characterization of the people, suddenly you see the impeachment trial in a different light.
And the light? You should see it in is a purely, pardon me, political light. It’s a narrative machine, a political argument, and even Trump’s lawyers are not making, in my opinion, they’re making the best arguments for him, they’re making the arguments they need to, they know that the Republican Party that, that that in truth, the senators think this is a crazy thing to do, they think it’s unprecedented, but they’re going to say that. They don’t want to be, they don’t want to be chewed up by the narrative machine. They just want to move on.
And here’s a secret, anybody who has won elections when they watch someone lose an election, like the Senators won, they won their elections. They watch Trump loses. They kind of think they’re better at it than he is. They kind of think in his luck in ’16 was just luck. And then he lost. So they don’t really want to focus on… Nobody, Lindsey Graham doesn’t want to focus on the fact that the elections might not be free and fair because he won three months ago. Same with a lot of the folks.
So now you watch the impeachment trial. Watch it through the prism, through the lens of the narrative machine and understand that when when the the the defense, impeachment defense lawyers mentioned Ben Sasse, that was on purpose. It’s a political argument. He’s on the other side of the political argument. He’s a part of the narrative machine. Dr. Cassidy from Louisiana, the senator from there when he voted in favor of the constitutionality of this thing. He was voting because of the politics. He wanted to be congratulated by the narrative machine.
It’s very, very welcoming to be a part of the narrative machine. You get loved on the Internet, you get loved on social media. Big Tech takes care of you if you’ll follow along the narrative. Man, Big Media will say great things. Ohh, Dr. Cassidy, very thoughtful senator from Louisiana, he’s a thoughtful guy. And of course, the powers that be, the left big government. The powering big government, they’re going to love on that.
So that’s why you see that happening.
But the reality is it’s a political fight and most of the people who’re participating in this know exactly what they’re doing. They’re counting on we the people to not see what they’re doing because at this point what’s happening is more control for the narrative Machine, big tech, big media and the government, Big Government.
And, you know, in the last 36 or 48 hours, we’ve seen the Biden administration, for example, sign a an executive order that reverses the Trump policy that made it mandatory that universities and colleges report when they had these Confucius centers promoted and funded with foreign money often funneled into it and all that. By the Chinese regime giving positive spin to the messages, and that’s obvious, right? That’s the Chinese regime benefiting from Biden being in office now. It’s a policy preference, I I feel certain that the groups have wanted that to be reversed with the universities that don’t want the scrutiny and they want the money. And I disagree completely. I think it’s terrible, but that’s expected when you live, an election is won by a guy who’s in favor of those groups.
But here’s what’s really damning. The narrative machine, big tech, big media, and big government is now being operationally is going in the direction that benefits whom? China. Why? Because big media benefits from television ads. They want ads run by all the big pharmaceutical companies and Wall Street and investors. Big Tech is basically wanting more action on the Internet, more clicks, more movement, more money, more ads, et cetera.
The Chinese regime is watching America, and they’re seeing this impeachment and they’re saying these people are small. These are weak people. By the way, one footnote, just to say it out loud, I feel so sorry and sad for Jeremy Raskin, the congressman who, who, who exploited his own son’s death as part of his thing. It’s just pathetic. The idea that the Democrats aren’t embarrassed. We used to be real men. And and real fathers. And exploiting your son like him was pathetic. He he shouldn’t be ashamed because he’s clearly wrapped in grief. He might, should be ashamed. But the people around him that are congratulating him that are allowing him to do that, oh, just so terrible, so demeaning. But that’s what’s happening with the impeachment trial.
It’s not about truth. It’s not about anything, it’s about the narrative machine which is capturing, it’s fed by the by the the nonsense that is spewed. It’s it, it’s enhanced by it and then it squashes people that disagree, and you can either be squashed. Or you can begin to do what Václav Havel described in his essay The Power of the Powerless, The Power of the Powerless. You can just self censor, give the right signals. You’re not for the crazy stuff. Yeah, you’re not for that narrative. Oh, I’m not for the bad guys in that narrative and say that you and me and saying to the 74 million, 100 million whatever it is that want America back and want to go forward and it’s dangerous time.
All right, we’ll take a break. When we come back, we will touch base with Dr. Brett M. Decker. And before that we will have a quick visit with John Schlafly of the Schlafly report. It’s Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report. Be right back.
