The following is a transcript from the Pro America Report.
Welcome Welcome welcome. Ed Martin here on the Pro America Report. Great to be together. In a few moments we will visit with my old friend Dr. Paul Kengor. Dr. Paul Kengor of Grove City College, an extraordinary man, extraordinary father. He’s got eight children. His wife is an amazing lady. And he’s a professor and also now the new editor of the American Spectator, Spectator.org. A very, very cool and important magazine and website. Right, very good guy you wanna visit with him. You wanna follow him and read his stuff. We’re gonna visit with him in a few moments and the news is not all good. By the way, the reason why I’m talking to him, sort of on a sudden suddenly is because one of the really great guys, one of the great guys of writing and politics and understanding stuff, George Neumayr passed away only 50 years old, got malaria while covering stories in Africa. So we’ll talk with, We’ll talk with Paul Kengor about that, and I look forward to it so, but today today what you need to know.
Yet another day of revelations about people having classified documents in their home or in their library or in their garage or in the Corvette or in The blah blah blah. We’re now up to, I think, three or four locations where Joe Biden as during his During the time after being vice president, which was just a short period. About four years. He looks like he moved a lot of documents to a lot of places. One thing that I haven’t heard anyone talking about Is how many homes does Joe Biden own? He owns a home in Delaware Big House. He owns a home in Rehoboth Beach, DE, which is a big home, a beach home. He’s, he looks like he owns at least two more homes. I have to say if you make $170,000 a year as a senator from 1972 or three Until you leave office, when you’re vice president, I think you make a couple 100 grand, maybe $250,000 something like that, and suddenly you’re worth millions and 10s of millions. Something doesn’t add up. At the the best case scenario is that you cashed out and a little bit like Hillary Clinton you were raking in money out of office, and people were betting you were going in office. It looks like, or worst case you were getting money all along and you were getting 10% for the big guy as was said by his son, Hunter. Could have been Hunter could have been, bloviating could have been, you know, kind of bravado. A young man looking like he was cool pretending he was important, but you know, I don’t know If you know Joe Biden’s got two brothers, he’s got one sister. I think maybe maybe more sisters and he’s got one sister I know of. Two brothers, both who are Prominent lobbyists, why wouldn’t they be? That’s a pretty good gig. If your brother is A Senator and you can find A way to get yourself on the payroll. So that’s A big deal. We’re going on, but here’s the thing.
I just want to point out to you how unfair and one sided the media Is that anything that happens with Trump is treated as a something dramatic, and with everybody else, it’s just something that happens.
So now we have a situation where a a classified material was taken by Mike Pence, taken by Joe Biden and taken by Donald Trump. In the case of Donald Trump, they raided Mar-a-Lago and they spent about two weeks, maybe three weeks could be 4, I don’t know talking about how amongst the classified material, Adam Schiff would come out and he’d say amongst the classified material. It’s unbelievable to us. We’ve got this. It could include. It might include. It could be stuff that people you know really think are serious for national security, maybe even nuclear secrets. And you had Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell and others come out And say, well, we we Don’t know for sure, but it could be nuclear, so it wasn’t that if it was nuclear secrets, we would have known by now. Nobody’s doing that to Trump. When Donald Trump uses his company, his build, ah, billion dollar multibillion dollar company to make sure that he pays the least amount of taxes ever like anybody else would. It’s considered, ohh, it’s an indication of high crimes and misdemeanors.
Well, in fact there’s an example when Donald Trump calls the Ukrainian president says what the heck’s going on over there. Straighten things out. It’s a high crime and misdemeanor. When Joe Biden says fire that prosecutor or I’m not going to give you, release the money. It’s considered ah, you know politics or reform politics. It’s over and over again. And the best example, another or another example.
When Don Junior meets with someone in the in Trump Tower during a campaign where someone says, hey, you ought to listen to this person, they think they’ve got some kind of some kind of information on on on Hillary. Turns out the person is some sort of Russian or some sort of, Remember, it was like an adoption someone had set up ah, Set up the idea that this was about adoptions and then turned out to be something else. Don Junior took The meeting and walked away. And yet it was made out to be some Massive collusion. Still is to this day. Over and over again, the question has to become, If over and over again, the same treatment is happening where whatever Trump does is worse. Whatever Trump does is horrendous and what everybody else does, Oh well, you know just what happens. I don’t know what. Just what happens. And here’s the Thing, the question you have to ask.
What you need to know is why? And at a certain point, the why is that they can’t stand, they can’t stomach Donald Trump more than these other people, and now you say the question again is Why is that? What is it that he threatens? Why is he a threat to them? Well, I mean. You know, at this point I think Pence got dragged into the classified documents thing because there some people are trying to make it like hey, hey hey, it’s not a bit Not as big a deal. Everybody does it don’t hurt Joe Biden. I think that’s what that is. Also, I think Mike Pence probably went and said to his team, hey dig through our files and see what you find. Because I think any I think probably what happens is anybody that leaves office is leaving office with with some sense of things that that, Some things that they take with them that maybe people would say they shouldn’t. At this point it looks like that happens a lot. I mean, I wonder. I have a friend that left the US Senate recently. I wonder if he left with a a bunch of trove of documents I don’t know. I don’t know. We have to. We have to see you have to find out. But my point here is what you need to know Is the double Standard is not. It’s not worth. It’s not worth crying over a double standard only. That’s not the only thing I’m saying.
Recognize the double standard that when Trump does it, it’s a great crime against humanity or a high crime and misdemeanor, and when other people do it. It’s just, you know. Oh well, you know, they’re trying, it’s a, It’s an oversight. Biden had an oversight, you know, documents stuffed in the back of the Corvette, but ask yourself why.
The what you need to know on this is why?
And the why is because Donald Trump was a threat. He wasn’t a manageable type politician. I think that’s just the truth. I think that’s the at a certain point. You cannot unpack the reality of what they’re doing and how they’re handling it in any other Way. You know a couple hundred thousand dollars of of troll farms on Facebook by a Russian. You know it looks like nitwits. They actually made, They made pro Hillary and pro Trump troll farm ads for Facebook and yet it’s characterized as you know Putin is out there Making pro Trump propaganda. That’s how it’s characterized. So you know again, that there is a double standard now is firmly established. That there is a double standard is 100% true. People see it and feel it. The question is why?
And what you need to know more and more is it’s Donald Trump’s a threat. He was a threat. He had to be pushed out. He had to be gotten rid of. He had to be stopped. And you don’t have to Watch Tucker Carlson, who did an incredible job a couple nights ago of laying out how it feels and seems with you. Put these facts together one after another. It seems like the sort of Washington establishment, the so-called deep state was clearing out Trump. That’s how it seems when you listen to Tucker lay it out, he goes back in time. To even back to, Watergate. And he shows like every time you know you got, you got somebody who’s a a threat to the status quo to the insider status quo, that person ends up pushed out. Seems pretty obvious, but in this case we’re seeing one after another. These these examples of the double standard and how Trump is treated differently and then you and Then you are. You are aware of it happening profoundly, and then you say why? And why is the next is the next, Why is the next question that needs to be asked and then what you need to know is the answer is pretty clear.
Trump was a threat.
Alright. We’re gonna take a break, when we come back we’ll talk with Paul Kengor, Dr. Paul Kengor American spectator.org excuse me American Spectator go to spectator.org their website.
