Washington, D.C.: “Despite even the questionable connections of Judge Reinhart and the outrageous politicization of the DOJ and FBI, the narrative against Trump is falling apart,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Judge Reinhart ruled today that the affidavit upon which the Mar-a-Lago raid was based cannot be kept sealed. Questions and accusations over the conduct of this FBI raid on Trump’s home are swirling, in Republican and Democrat circles alike.
“The Department of Justice has until Thursday of this week to respond with what they consider a reasonable plan to redact information that would harm agents or an ongoing investigation. However, one way or another, the document must be revealed, Judge Reinhart said.
“Good for the Judge to reject the DOJ’s poorly laid out excuses as to why this case should be kept secret. The government’s conduct in this raid has been shameful, and I look forward to all of their tyrannical moves being revealed and overturned. This is a good start and it must be a lesson for We the People to keep up pressure and demand accountability!”
