White House Extends Travel Mask Mandate, Blames Texas Gov. For Inflation
Washington, D.C.: “It’s been a banner week of blame and deflection for the Biden Administration,” said Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin. “The CDC and the White House announced that we need just two (more) weeks to slow the spread of Covid on public transportation! Set to expire on April 18, the federal mask mandate on airports and other mass transit has now been extended through May 3.
“Someone should tell the government that we’re done with Covid and with their baseless mandates. The simple truth is that the Biden Administration refuses to give up control they’ve wielded for years now. Instead of assuming responsibility for our faces and travel habits, they should take responsibility for our flailing economy, but they won’t!
“Yet again, the administration deflected responsibility on inflation to another outlandish source. Apparently it’s not only Putin’s fault that our prices are sky high, but now we can blame the governor of Texas as well. How dare he try to secure the border and inspect trucks coming into America!
“It’s time for the Biden Administration to attend to their business and stop minding ours. Americans aren’t worried about the flu any longer, but they are concerned with our national security. The porous souther border allows drug smugglers, gun runners, human traffickers, and terrorists to enter America unchallenged. Do your job, President Biden! Stop fear-mongering over mass transit masking and secure the border.”
