Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Documents Confirm Lab Leak
Washington, D.C.: “Project Veritas and Open The Books have delivered a one-two punch to the infamous Dr. Fauci,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Thanks to their efforts, the American public now knows not only about Dr. Fauci’s highest-paid-federal-employee status (and mind-boggling retirement package), but also his history of lying to us at almost every turn about the origins of Covid-19.”
Project Veritas reported on newly released government documents from DARPA (the Pentagon’s research and development division) which seem to confirm the theory that the SARS-CoV-2 virus is man-made and leaked from the Communist Chinese Wuhan Institute of Virology in August 2019.
“These documents are a major bombshell revelation,” Martin continued, “though it confirms what many in the public eye already have asserted now for months. Simply put: Dr. Fauci and the NIAID participated in viral gain-of-function research that the Department of Defense turned down. Fauci then lied about it to Congress and the American public, hiding behind the cloak of definitions and non-answers.
“From the very beginning, the document indicates, Dr. Fauci and other top U.S. health officials have known the origins of Covid-19 and what will and will not be effective in stopping its spread.”
Adding insult to the injury of this gain-of-function coverup, Adam Andrzejewski of Open The Books detailed Fauci’s “golden package and parachute” in a recent column at Forbes. The bottom line: Anthony Fauci makes nearly $450,000 annually — more than the President of the United States — and his annual retirement package of $350,000 is more than five timestheaverage income of workers in the United States.
Martin concluded, “Open the Books is fighting attempts to block transparency on Fauci’s sweet deal. They’ve sued Dr. Fauci and NIAID to obtain all this information as a matter of public record. A court ruling demanded the data be released starting in February, but Fauci is slow-walking their results as best as he can.
“At this point, it’s likely that Dr. Fauci has clinched the award for longest-serving, highest-paid professional liar in American history. Fauci’s executive branch leadership is a disgrace. His push for power and self-enrichment is in no small part to blame for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans.
“His continued insolence in response to transparency efforts is salt in the wound. Bravo to Senators Rand Paul and Roger Marshall for drilling down on this deadly bureaucrat. It’s time to fire Fauci and get back to putting the well-being and liberty of the American people first.”
