After the police killed Sonya Massey in July, the usual suspects of the BLM agitation crowd came out of the woodwork. They emerged from wherever they have been hiding since the 2020 riots to spread lies and to try to cause chaos.
Kimberlé Crenshaw, a professor at Columbia Law School, posted on X this:“Black women make up less than 10% of the population, yet when it comes to killings by police, we make up a 3rd of them, with the majority unarmed. And that’s exactly what happened with Sonya Massey.”
Nobody can be quite sure where Professor Crenshaw got her numbers. They are so far from the truth that they must be made up. The X Community Note pointed out that in the Washington Post database of police shootings, only 84 out of the roughly 10,000 were black women. That’s less than 1%.
A conservative publisher once asked a liberal colleague how many unarmed African Americans are killed by police each year. The left-winger answered that he thought it was a couple thousand. The publisher replied, “The actual answer is about 15”.
Now, 15 is too many. But the publisher went on to point out that elite white liberals are often extremely disconnected from reality. Sometimes, this seems to be purposeful. They sow the seeds of racial discontent to shake up society, especially during election years. It is no wonder that 2015, 2020, and now 2024 were all years that the narrative machine tried to stir up racial strife. I think not, because it only helps the left.
Our justice system is not systemically racist against any one race, not even African Americans. And yet the left pushes this lie year after year, and more reforms get passed year after year, but somehow the left is never satisfied. They do not truly seem to want justice. Conservatives, however, are on the side of order and justice. The left wants to reform the justice system with the purpose of increasing chaos.
