Voters Sink Anti-Parent, Anti-Family Agenda; Install Glenn Youngkin as Next VA Governor
Washington, D.C.: “Yesterday, Virginians soundly repudiated the arrogant power-hungry Establishment and their lackey Terry McAuliffe,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Thanks to McAuliffe’s shocking truthfulness about the progressive goal to essentially make school children property of the state, Virginians made the bold move in handing the reins to pro-freedom, pro-America leaders.”
From the Loudon County Board of Education to McAuliffe’s campaign, Virginia has been ground zero for the culture war over kids and our schools. Unfortunately, marxists who oppose parental rights are not always so bold as to publicly declare that they “don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”
“Make no mistake,” Martin said. “The fight is far from over. This brief moment of victory and vindication of America’s parents cannot be the last. Every American must embrace vigilance and vocal oversight today! If we are to drive the ’22 and ’24 elections, we must not let up. Candidates need to know that we will not accept weak compromises and flashy distractions.
