At the outset of President Donald Trump’s deluge of executive actions, his administration made one primary value unequivocally clear: that the federal government has a new policy on so-called “gender,” when actually, the principle is far from new. In fact, you and I would rightly consider this a fundamental principle of creation order, instituted by Providence Himself.
To the clear discomfort of the Deep State figureheads behind him on Inauguration Day, President Trump declared “As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male and female.” No matter how spiteful radical progressives view this declaration, it was met with cheers from Trump’s supporters in the room and millions of Americans watching. Trump sealed this sentiment into action with an executive order later that day.
The order was titled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.” After years of arguing just what is a “man” or a “woman,” Trump’s executive order is a refreshing reminder that truth and clarity matter. For the federal government’s purposes, this order defines a female as “a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.” It then defines male as “a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.” In a world full of wokesters purposefully clouding this issue legally, politically, and culturally, the Trump administration cuts through with not only a sound biological answer to a question that’s not really complicated, but also a very exciting glimpse at their future policies.
Let me reiterate a key phrase — at conception — the administration says, is when this identity of male or female is established. This may be a small phrase, but it is already having a big impact and will continue to as the Trump White House steamrolls through executive agencies. And may I simply say, God bless the White House for being so clear and bold on these foundational creation order principles.
