From Purple Wisconsin to Deep Blue So-Cal, Parents Are Shaking Up Education
Washington, D.C.: “Parents are fed up with indoctrination over education, and the electoral ramifications are just beginning,” said Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin. “Despite what the swamp pollsters tell us, the culture war and protecting our American social values ARE our ‘big tent’ issues in 2022. This wave started in places like Loudoun County, Virginia, and it swept Governor Glenn Youngkin into office.
“The wave of concerned parents has spread to every state and the fire is only growing brighter! This week, Waukesha, Wisconsin school district voters flipped three school board seats conservative after parents and lawmakers took up the issue of critical race theory in Wisconsin. An Orange County, California school board passed a resolution prohibiting the instruction of CRT as well on Election Day.
“Likewise, the controversy between gone-woke Disney and the whole state of Florida has highlighted the great divide between indoctrinators and protectors of children. Across the entire country and from the bottom-up in government, frustrated parents are taking the lead on the issue of education and the electoral reverberations are far from over. I guarantee they will be felt all the way through November! We must all pile in behind concerned parents and make sure their voices are heard this year from their school boards to the halls of Congress!”
