St. Louis, MO: Video surfaced this week of VA Democrat Delegate Kathy Tran defending her new bill in committee that would remove restrictions on third trimester abortions in Virginia. During questioning, she admitted this would allow for abortion “for the physical or mental health” of the mother up to the final moments before birth. In a shocking step further, Gov. Ralph Northam expressed support for the bill today on a radio interview – taking it a step further in a description that can only be labeled as infanticide.
“On the heels of new vile laws in New York, this support from Virginia democrats for abortion until the last seconds before birth should shock and disturb all of America,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Abortion advocates are moving faster than we could have imagined to push their agenda of death. VA Governor Northam spoke up today in defense of Tran’s third trimester bill but took the argument a step further to what can only be described as evil – a situation in which a child is delivered and then options are discussed between mother and physicians if the child has severe deformity or lacks viability.
“This disgusting description of infanticide should disturb our very souls. We cannot let these ideas happen. They must be met with outcry. What we need to know and to do is to understand what’s happening, name the evil that this is, and fight it.”
