Beleaguered Planned Parenthood is Rolling Up Abortion Operations in Key States
Washington, D.C.: “As the pro-life community braces in hopeful anticipation of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision next month, let’s celebrate a huge win for life,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “On the heels of wonderful pro-life bills signed into law in Oklahoma and Arizona, we get the wonderful news that Planned Parenthood’s operation in key states with pro-life laws is sputtering to a stop. They are reportedly ending procedures across Georgia and Alabama, two states at the center of recent fights to defend their pro-life laws. Planned Parenthood can blame ‘staffing issues,’ but the reality is that state laws are working and making it difficult for the abortion giant to push their predatory practices.
“Georgia and Alabama faced immense pressure for their laws protecting the sanctity of life, but their steadfastness is paying dividends nationwide. Texas and Mississippi (the source of Dobbs v. Jackson) are also standing their ground amid tumultuous lawsuits. Arizona and now Oklahoma have boldly stepped up as well!
“The fight to protect the sanctity of human life is on the march across America. If we’ve learned anything from the feckless ‘leadership’ of Congress, it’s that states will likely be the real leaders on defending future generations of Americans! I pray state legislators continue to lead with boldness. They may be the last bastion of hope to defend our God-given rights.”
