Washington, D.C.: On Sunday, Vice President Kamala Harris delivered an abortion-focused speech in Tallahassee, FL, designed to criticize Florida’s pro-life leadership and push the new Biden Administration agenda of abortion-pill access nationwide.
“VP Harris’s speech was even more offensive than usual,” said Phyllis Schlafly Eagles President Ed Martin, “as she took the opportunity to distort and degrade the Declaration of Independence to support their vile abortion agenda. She opined about the Declaration’s promise of ‘liberty and pursuit of happiness,’ while so obviously skipping the fundamental right to life that appears right before her selected rights.”
Martin continued: “Her disgusting misuse of our founding documents aside, we must be ready to face off with the new tactics of America’s predatory abortion industry. As states are now again unshackled to make abortion policy for themselves in the post-Roe legal structure, Planned Parenthood and their minions are turning to the expansion of telemedicine and mail-order drugs. They are determined to take the fight against young women and unborn children back to the states who have shut down brick-and-mortar facilities. We must be vigilant and ready to fight back against each new tactic they devise!
