Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh Investigates, Spurs Tennessee Legislature To Crack Down
Washington, D.C.: Recent investigations at high-profile hospitals have revealed the disturbing trend of medical groups allowing transgender surgeries for minors.
“Matt Walsh and the Daily Wire have been a driving force behind the movement to stop irreversible hormone therapy and mutilating surgeries on children,” said Ed Martin, president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles. “Matt’s team found and released shocking and sickening videos from hospital staff, primarily at Tennessee’s Vanderbilt University Medical Center. They bragged about how young their patients were and that these surgeries were ‘huge money makers.’ As any sane person would imagine, this spotlight on their practices drew enormous negative attention, now resulting in the suspension of all transgender surgeries while they review the program!”
“While this is a win in the short term, it’s only one small step in the war being waged across our culture,” Martin continued. “Some things shouldn’t be controversial, and yet the radical left has made them so across media and pop culture. Puberty blockers are permanent. Hormone therapy on kids is wrong. Gender mutilation surgeries are child abuse. In fact, all of the aforementioned ought to be thought of as child abuse! It is unfathomable to me that any major medical group in America would dare to push these kinds of procedures, and yet here we are.
