A groundbreaking study has confirmed what conservatives have long suspected: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives are not only ineffective but actively harmful. Research from Rutgers University and the Network Contagion Research Institute exposes the dangerous consequences of DEI messaging. They include heightened hostility, psychological harm, and increased support for authoritarian rhetoric. Shockingly, it even led to agreement with Adolf Hitler’s quotes.
The study reveals that DEI materials prime participants to see prejudice where none exists, fostering unwarranted suspicion and vindictiveness. National Review reported that participants exposed to DEI content were significantly more likely to endorse Hitler-like demonization, labeling Brahmins as “parasites” or “the devil personified.” The researchers concluded that such exposure engenders a “hostile attribution bias,” eroding trust and stoking division.
This pattern held across experiments focused on race, religion, and caste. DEI materials drawn from prominent figures like Ibram X. Kendi and Robin DiAngelo increased participants’ perceptions of bias and their willingness to punish innocent individuals. Such findings expose DEI’s true nature. It is not a unifying force. It is a tool for sowing division and authoritarianism.
Despite the study’s rigorous methodology, both The New York Times and Bloomberg shelved coverage of these explosive findings. Editorial leaders at both outlets cited vague concerns, but their sudden retreat reeks of ideological bias. These media gatekeepers have no issue publishing narratives that advance leftist ideologies but balk at research undermining their cherished dogmas.
This study confirms what conservatives have warned for years: DEI programs weaponize identity politics, manufacturing grievances and scapegoats under the guise of inclusion. They undermine social cohesion, meritocracy, and free thought. Instead, they create a culture of paranoia and punitive justice. It’s time to reject DEI indoctrination and reclaim institutions grounded in genuine equality and mutual respect. America deserves better than these divisive, destructive ideologies.
